  • AEV Jeep Brute : Double Cab Off Road Jeep Pickup!

AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) recently released their newest creation; it's a double cab Jeep pickup! The Jeep pickup known as the Brute has been around for some time. There are many "converted" Jeep Wranglers and even kits for making the conversion. But...this conversion is much different.

This Brute comes with four doors! The base for this double cab Jeep Brute is the four door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The chassis is stretched 30 inches for a total vehicle length of 216 inches. The wheelbase is increased to 139 inches which is an increase of 23 inches; this is the approximate wheelbase of a double cab long bed Toyota Tacoma.

What is the purpose of this Jeep Brute? Well, it's not to replace the traditional pickup or even be the most capable off road vehicle. Obviously, with the overall length and wheelbase tight trails will be difficult to impossible. AEV specifically designed this truck for the "Overland" "Expedition" community. It provides more storage space than a Wrangler Unlimited thanks to the truck bed. It also has four doors to comfortably haul five passenger and the rear seats fold flat for increased cargo area.

This newest Brute AEV creation is certainly a niche vehicle with exceptional design and construction.

The truck bed is five foot in length and approximately the same in width. There is plenty of space for hauling your gear for weekend family getaways or serious off road expeditions.

Without a doubt the Jeep Brute double cab offers the most "stock" off road capability of any available pickup on the market. It shares all the stock components of the Wrangler Rubicon with solid axles, differential lockers, low gearing and more.

There has been talk of Jeep releasing and producing a four door pickup. You'll want to watch for the redesign coming out in 2014-15 to see if it becomes a reality. Meanwhile, you can buy the AEV Jeep Brute an incredible, unique off road pickup. Checkout the full details on the Jeep Brute on the AEV Website: http://www.aev-conversions.com
