  • Mitsubishi Conquers Rubicon Trail : Part 1

Most people say the Montero is a "soccer mom mobile" however, I wanted to prove them wrong! Oversees, the Montero won the Dakar Rally for years and they are used heavily for expedition travel.

This may be the first fully independent suspension (full body) truck to drive through the Rubicon. It was flawless, no breakdowns. Exceptional driving challenge and adventure!

(don't attempt this trail without proper equipment, experience and capable support group. it is extremely remote and no cell coverage)

All video recorded with Sony a6000 with 10-18mm lens.

Huge thanks to Sam (my bro) for shooting and editing video! He did a great job. Enjoy!

    Operation Trail Tank

Since the Tank was not drivable, I bought a 2008 Commander for camping. Lots of room, fit my drawers from the Tank even. I will build that. Has a V8

    Diy internal beadlocks.

Got any more pics. This is interesting indeed. I always liked the idea of internal beadlocks over the constant maintenance of a bolt ring.

    Thank you!

I am a big fan of BFG tires. My ranger had KO's on them and I got about 55k miles out of them. I have the KM2's since I've owned
