GoPro Hero 2 Video Camera is nothing short of remarkable. It's incredibly affordable at the sub $300 price tag. It records in full HD and includes multiple mounting options and a waterproof case for those wet adventures. You may want to take a close look at this if you want to share your adventures. This could be one of the most versatile, affordable video capturing options available.

This is on my purchase list in the next month or two. I love the ability to capture outdoor adventure video. The quality of HD never ceases to amaze ...

We are planning a trail run to Trask OHV area on the backside of Tillamook State Forest. It has been a number of years since we've been here so there will be plenty of exploring to do. Many of the trails are unmarked and may be difficult to find. You'll need good traction tires and lockers will be helpful depending on the weather. Anyone is welcome to join us. Just post up on the forum (see link below).

Roof tents are all the rage among the "expedition off road" crowd and you have to admit they are fairly cool. The ARB Simpson 3 Rooftop Tent is one of the best available. It makes remote camping a breeze as your tent is always mounted on the vehicle and ready for use. You can even leave your sleeping bag or pillow inside for quicker setup. The tent can be erected in minutes and taken down nearly as fast. You don't have to worry much about rain, mud and rocks as you are sleeping above it all. ...

2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon = No more Minivan Engine! This was one of the major complaints of the previous model years. The 3.8L V6 previously used not only lacked horsepower (rated 202hp) but also had poor fuel economy. So.... Jeep made a smaller engine for 2012 to fix that. Smaller? Yes...but more powerful. The new 3.6L all aluminum V6 motor has 285hp and 260 Ft-Lbs torque. Plus, for an added bonus the hwy fuel economy is rated over 20 mpg! Of course that's before you lift it and put on huge tires.

I have some large and small Gitout.com Vinyl Stickers. The picture shows the large vinyl sticker. The small one is perfect for side windows.

These are quality, durable vinyl stickers. I've had them on several of my past rigs and they have held up very well in the weather. My 1983 Toyota Truck had one on the front windshield and it survived the wipers for years until I sold it. It's a great way to represent Gitout.com!

These cost $5 each. I have a limited amount of the smaller ones available but can ...

BFG KM2 Mud Terrain Off Road Driving Conditions (35" x 12.5")

Sand Traction: We tested the BFG KM2 tires at Pacific City, Oregon. We tried to get the truck stuck but couldn't even with the tires at 35 PSI. The tires dug down but kept pushing the truck forward. We climbed a couple soft sand hills without issues. The KM2 tires did much better than my previous Toyo MT tires which seemed to dig straight down.

It was time to upgrade my old 35" Wild Country XTR Mud Terrain Tires. My goal was to find a tire with good on road manners and excellent off road traction. After hours of researching and reading reviews my choices were narrowed down to the Yokohama Geolander MT+, Toyo Open Country MT and the BFGoodrick T/A KM2 tires. I decided to try the new BGFs.

The new BFG KM2 tires look incredible! They share a similar tread design and styling to the award winning rock-crawling counterpart the Krawler KX. Yet... It is a functional dual purpose tire.

I put the total chaos longtravel ifs kit on our FJ at work and to me it's a much better suspension upgrade than a solid axle swap.
