June 29, 2012 - Oregon - McGrew Trail 3 Day Trip!

All I was planning on leaving tomorrow afternoon around 2:00 PM to try and get through most of the I-5 Friday traffic, but I am really wide open for flexibility after 2:00 PM and would love to do a caravan if at least with one other person tomorrow? Just got back from the grocery store for all the tasty treats and camp food! We're getting close to trail time now!!!!

I saw there are several RV resorts with tent spaces along 199 near the meeting place that were about $15.00 - $30 p/n might be cheaper than a motel Curt; heck this place is actually AT our meeting spot:

Looks like they have a group site, maybe we can book it and save some dough? What do you guys think? I don't mind booking it up front and collecting later?

I am not married to any place at all, just would like to get something going for sure; personally some place more remote would be awesome, but not knowing and being dark on arrival (or close to it with a 3-4 PM start time) would be tricky? I sent them an urgent email and will follow-up with a call to even see what they have; otherwise I will be sitting in front of my computer all day tomorrow (will be anyway) looking for a remote place on google earth; perhaps the place I sent over last night?
