    Utah l Moab!!! l Aug 18-22, 2019

Since this is such a long trip and we are kicking back in Moab for 6 nights, I might as well start the trip report.

Vinnie, Juan & I converged on Moab on Saturday 8/17. The girls and I got here at about 3:15 pm and the others got her at about 9:20 pm.

Here are a few pics from my drive across Hwy 50 from Dayton, NV to Moab.

There is no best vehicle. It depends on the terrain, tires, driver, luck, and lots of happenstance.

I drove from Moab to Baker City in 12 hours including stops. That was 10 and 1/2 hours of actual driving time.

Then this morning I drove from Baker City to Beaverton in 5 hours and 10 minutes including stops for gas and Starbucks.

Hell's Revenge was a blast! There is so much traction! This is what happens when you lose traction.

Day 2 - Moab Rim Trail was one of our favorite trails. The first mile required constant attention to detail and was much more technical than most of Hell's Revenge. We drove to the end of the trail and we were pleased by the unique terrain and views.

Vinnie & Juan on Moab Rim's first major obstacle. Juan's front left saw about 8 feet of air time on this one!
