Post July 8, 2012 - Oregon - Tillamook Trail Run & Warn Rep Winch Training!!

    When: July 8, 2012
Where to Meet: Cheveron | 640 South Main Street, Banks, OR
Meet Time: 8:45am. We will leave no later than 9:15am.

Permits: Oregon ATV Permit Communication: CB or 2 way radio required.
Vehicle requirements: 32" MT or AT tires in decent condition. Some lift is required. Reliable, Maintained vehicle. Make sure you have front and rear tow (recovery) points. These requirements are only if you are planning on joining us after wards for the trail run.

Here's the plan: Steve from Warn Industries will be providing a free winch training/presentation at 10:00am sharp. Learn great tricks like: How to winch yourself backwards with front bumper winch! Regardless of how much experience you may have winching, I promise you will learn something! The presentation will last approximately 2 hours. Steve needs a head count by June 24, 2012. After the presentation Steve is planning on running trails with us in his Land Rover Defender 90.

If I've got some protection and lift by then, I'm in. No promises. Would really like to learn some winch stuff so I might just come and not do the trail ride.

You should definitely come either way... And you can always ride along too if your truck isn't ready.

You bet!! Even if you don't own a winch yet, you never know if you may need to help someone else use theirs!!!

Put me down as a maybe. It'll all depend on if I'm on call that week. Thanks.

I'm definitely going to try to make this! Snapped a winch cable once because I couldn't figure out how to winch myself backwards due to my winch being on the front of the truck. So many uses for that trick.

Man, does it have to be a Sunday? Harder to get back up to Olympia. I'll be putting it on the calendar. This class is probably worth $500 or better, so free is amazing.
