My 07' Nissan Frontier

DSCN2886.jpgIMAG0989.jpgI am new to this site but been on clubfrontier.org and expeditionportal.com for many years. thought I would join up being this seems to be more a local crowd. I am Eugene now (moved down about 7 months ago from Portland).
My rig: 07 Nissan Frontier, Nismo package.

here are a couple pictures from the past few years. its going into the shop early next week to get some suspension work done. putting a titan swap on it up front with some Remote res. Sway Away coil overs! cant wait. I will try and get some more pictures off of my other computer here this weekend.

Nice truck!! Nismo comes with rear lockers, correct? And when you say swapping with titan suspension..pretty much you're switching out the lower control arms?? I read something about that..interesting. What do you have in the rear with the alcan leaves?

yeah, nismo comes with a rear electronic locker. as for the titan swap, the rear stays the same, I just took the oppertunity to upgrade my frankensteins rear leaf pack that was abused for years with a pop up camper in the bed (about 750#'s), they were a little "S" shaped. these Alcan packs are made specificly for Frontiers and sold through PRG (google them). The front swap is near stock titan lower control arms (coil brackets cut off and new put on), long travel aftermarket upper control arms, extended axle shafts, and extended stearing linkage, and best of all tuned Sway Away coil overs with remote resavors tuned for frontier with titan swap that has a winch bumper. I am getting the front end work done tomorrow and removing the set up I currently have on there.

got the titan swap complete today. its sooo much smoother with those sway away coils. only prob is thesy didnt seat one of the drive axles up front right. so there is a little clicky noise and leaking front diff fluid (couple small drips) so I gotta get it back into them. I went ahead and got some new circlips for the inner shaft seat for them too, I am guessing they reused the old ones and didnt realize they were not seating all the way. they are a stan up shop so sounds like they will take care of it for free. pictures coming soon. FYI: got another 3" of lift out of them for about 5" up front with days of travel in both directions. cant wait to get out on them this weekend.
